Legal Experience

Experience in complex commercial, employment, trade secret, and personal injury litigation, including the following:

• Lead counsel in arbitration involving breach of contract claims. Obtained a successful ruling for client and award of damages and fees.
• Lead counsel for large corporation in jury trial involving fraud, negligent misrepresentation, violations of DTPA, and breach of contract. Obtained a successful resolution of case after 2nd day of trial
• Lead counsel in jury trial regarding motor vehicle accident. Obtained favorable verdict for client.
• Lead counsel in arbitration involving construction dispute. Successfully defended breach of contract claims against client.
• Lead counsel in jury trial regarding first party insurance claim. Obtained favorable verdict for client that included damages significantly greater than pre-trial offer.
• Lead counsel in jury trial regarding first party insurance claim.  Obtained favorable verdict for client that included damages significantly greater than pre-trial offer.
• Co-lead trial counsel representing builder in two-week jury trial relating to non-payment under residential construction contract and defense of multimillion dollar breach of contract, fraud, and DTPA claims. Obtained verdict for builder including attorney’s fees and successfully defended all counterclaims.
• Lead trial counsel of company involving claims that company’s driver caused automobile accident and ultimate stroke of Plaintiff. Obtained take-nothing judgment against Plaintiff.
• Lead counsel for oil company in trade secret and confidential information case brought by competitor. Obtained successful summary judgment for client and successfully defended appeal before 14th Court
  of Appeals.
• Lead counsel for several financial institutions handling numerous cases involving collection proceedings, wrongful foreclosure, DTPA actions, and breach of contract.
• Lead trial counsel for large land corporation in jury trial involving eminent domain.
• Representation of numerous individuals in personal injury cases, including jury and non-jury trials.
• Lead counsel for many businesses involving breach of contract, employment, trade secret, fraud, and DTPA allegations.
• Lead counsel in jury trial in Burleson County on oil & gas matter.  Obtained favorable verdict for client.
• Lead counsel in arbitration regarding breach of contract, fraud, and violations of DTPA claims against builder. Obtained trembled damage award for clients.
• Lead counsel in week long jury trial in Robertson County, Texas on trespass and water code violation claims. Obtained favorable verdict for clients
